Senior Buyer 12-Month Contract Calgary, AB We are seeking an experienced Senior Buyer to support major procurement initiatives within a leading energy organization. This role will be responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle, including supplier negotiations, bid evaluations, purchase order management, and stakeholder engagement across complex projects and material categories. Key Requirements Minimum 5 years of Buyer experience Mandatory SAP experience within a Buyer role Strong background in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management Experience managing RFQs, RFPs, and commercial evaluations Ability to work with technical specifications, bills of materials, and cross-functional stakeholders What You'll Do Lead procurement activities for assigned projects and commodities Negotiate with suppliers and manage purchase orders Conduct bid analysis and supplier evaluations Drive cost savings, process improvements, and supplier performance initiatives Collaborate with engineering, legal, risk, and project teams If you have strong procurement expertise and hands-on SAP experience in a Buyer capacity, we'd like to hear from you.
