Job Details: Job Title: Dot Net Developer Location: Remote Duration: 12 Months contract with possibility of extension Rate: 60-65 CAD/Hour Inc Job Description: We are looking for a highly skilled .NET Core Developer with strong hands-on experience in REST/Web API development, Microsoft Azure, and MongoDB. The ideal candidate will be a strong individual contributor capable of designing, building, and maintaining scalable, cloud-native applications with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core • Build and consume RESTful APIs / Web APIs for internal and external integrations • Develop and deploy solutions on Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, Storage, etc.) • Design and manage data models using MongoDB (schema design, indexing, performance tuning) • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product) to deliver high-quality solutions • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions • Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability Required Skills & Experience: • Strong proficiency in .NET Core / C# • Solid experience building and consuming REST APIs / Web APIs • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services • Experience working with MongoDB (queries, aggregation, schema design) • Strong understanding of software design principles and design patterns • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps (preferred) • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently Nice to Have: • Experience with microservices architecture • Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Relevant years of hands-on development experience in the above tech stack
