Business Analyst

Job Title: Business Analyst Location: Remote Experience: 6-8 years Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. The ideal candidate will analyze business processes, gather and document requirements, and support the delivery of technology-driven solutions that align with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders. Work closely with product owners, developers, QA teams, and business users to ensure clear understanding of requirements. Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and process flows. Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies. Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) by preparing test scenarios, coordinating testing activities, and validating outcomes. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and requirement review sessions with stakeholders. Ensure requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in process improvement initiatives and recommend data-driven solutions. Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation for management and project teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in an IT or technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques such as interviews, workshops, and documentation reviews. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, SQL, Excel, or similar. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills (Good to Have) Experience working with cross-functional and global teams. Exposure to domains such as Banking, Healthcare, E‑commerce, SaaS, or ERP systems. Knowledge of data analysis, reporting tools, or APIs. BA certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are a plus.
