Job Title: Frontend Architect / Senior ReactJS & GraphQL Developer Hybrid at Vancouver, BC Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Frontend Architect with strong expertise in ReactJS, GraphQL, and DevOps practices to lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining frontend architecture standards, mentoring development teams, implementing modern UI frameworks, and driving CI/CD and cloud-native deployment strategies. This role requires a combination of hands-on coding, technical leadership, architectural decision-making, and DevOps enablement to ensure seamless delivery of enterprise-grade digital solutions. Required Experience 10+ years of front end software development experience. 5+ years of hands-on ReactJS development experience. 3+ years of GraphQL implementation experience. 3+ years in frontend architecture and application design. 3+ years of DevOps and CI/CD implementation experience. Experience working in large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs. Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Key Responsibilities Frontend Architecture & Development Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and reusable frontend architectures using ReactJS. Define coding standards, development best practices, and frontend governance frameworks. Lead UI modernization initiatives and migration efforts from legacy applications. Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performing web applications. Establish component-driven development using design systems and reusable UI libraries. Drive frontend performance optimization and browser compatibility strategies. ReactJS Development Build complex user interfaces using ReactJS, Redux, Context API, Hooks, and modern JavaScript (ES6+). Develop reusable React components and micro-frontend architectures. Optimize rendering performance using lazy loading, memoization, code splitting, and caching techniques. Implement unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks. GraphQL Development Design and implement GraphQL schemas, queries, mutations, and subscriptions. Integrate GraphQL APIs with frontend applications using Apollo Client or similar frameworks. Optimize GraphQL performance through query batching, caching, pagination, and schema federation. Collaborate with backend teams to define API contracts and data models. DevOps & Cloud Engineering Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation. Automate build, deployment, testing, and monitoring processes. Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. Enable cloud-native deployments across Azure, AWS, or GCP environments. Monitor application health using observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or ELK. Technical Leadership Lead architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical planning activities. Mentor and coach developers on frontend engineering best practices. Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers, Architects, and Engineering Managers. Drive Agile delivery practices and participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release management.

Lead the design and development of scalable frontend architectures using ReactJS and GraphQL while defining coding standards. Drive DevOps enablement through CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies to ensure high-performance web applications.

Requires over 10 years of frontend development experience, including 5+ years of ReactJS and 3+ years of GraphQL and DevOps expertise. Candidates must have experience in large-scale enterprise digital transformations and cloud environment deployments.
