Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid) Company: HCLTech Experience Required: 8+ Years in Talent Acquisition / Recruitment Employment Type: Full-Time Annual Compensation: CAD 65,000 plus benefits About the Role HCLTech is seeking an experienced and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team in Vancouver. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience recruiting for IT consulting and technology services organizations, managing end-to-end hiring processes, and partnering with business leaders to attract top technology talent across Canada and North America. This role requires a strategic recruiter who can effectively support high-volume and niche hiring demands while delivering an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle recruiting for IT consulting and technology roles across multiple business units. Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce planning, hiring forecasts, and skill requirements. Source, screen, assess, and shortlist candidates through multiple channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, networking, and direct sourcing. Recruit for a wide range of technology positions including: Software Development Cloud & Infrastructure Data & Analytics Cybersecurity ERP/CRM Quality Engineering Project & Program Management Digital Transformation Consulting Develop and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and niche technology roles. Conduct recruiter screenings and coordinate interview processes with hiring teams. Manage offer negotiations, compensation discussions, and candidate onboarding activities. Ensure compliance with employment laws, recruitment policies, and company hiring standards. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment metrics using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). Drive employer branding initiatives and represent HCLTech at job fairs, networking events, and recruitment campaigns. Monitor recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, candidate experience, and hiring manager satisfaction. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Work collaboratively with HR, business stakeholders, vendors, and external recruitment partners. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of Talent Acquisition experience, with significant exposure to IT consulting, technology services, or managed services environments. Proven experience recruiting for technical and consulting positions across multiple skill domains. Strong understanding of technology talent markets, sourcing methodologies, and recruitment best practices. Experience handling both lateral and leadership hiring. Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and modern sourcing tools. Ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities. Experience working with recruitment metrics and data-driven hiring decisions. Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting within global IT services organizations. Knowledge of Canadian labor market trends and employment regulations. Experience supporting client-facing consulting and professional services hiring. Exposure to diversity hiring and talent branding initiatives. HR or recruitment certifications (CPHR, AIRS, LinkedIn Certification, etc.) are an asset.
