Pay: $1,440.13 / week Location: Buffalo Center, IA Shift: Day Shift (Flexible) Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Travel Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Long-Term Care (LTC) opportunity in Buffalo Center, IA. In this role, you will provide person-centered care, administer daily treatments, and manage chronic conditions for residents in a collaborative skilled nursing environment. If you are an adaptable, compassionate nurse looking for a high-paying travel assignment on day shifts, we want to hear from you. Key Responsibilities Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and track resident responses in the EHR. Perform routine wound care, dressing changes, and treatments per care plans. Assess changes in resident conditions and communicate promptly with physicians, RNs, and family members. Collaborate with CNAs and therapists to assist with daily living activities and rehabilitation programs. Maintain strict safety protocols and precise clinical documentation. Requirements Education: Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program. Licensure: Active Iowa LPN license or a valid compact/multistate LPN license. Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification. Experience: 1+ years of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities. Strong communication skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Preferred Qualifications Prior travel nursing experience.
