Location: Sewickley, PA Shift: Day Shift Pay: Up to $2,000.04 / week Job Type: Full-time, Contract, Travel Job Summary Are you an experienced Long-Term Care Travel RN looking for your next assignment? We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and flexible LTC RN to join a dedicated interdisciplinary healthcare team in beautiful Sewickley, PA. In this role, you will deliver high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and retirement community. You will focus on managing chronic conditions, conducting comprehensive assessments, and collaborating with families and primary care providers to ensure the highest standards of safety, comfort, and care. Key Responsibilities Resident Care & Assessment: Conduct thorough health assessments, monitor changes in resident status, and manage daily care for frail or elderly adults. Clinical Interventions: Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform wound care/skin integrity management (including pressure ulcer prevention). Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians, physical/occupational therapists, and social workers to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans. EHR Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the facility’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Communication & Education: Educate residents and their families on disease management, medications, and safety planning with empathy and clarity. Qualifications & Requirements Required: Licensure: Active and unencumbered Pennsylvania RN License (or valid Compact RN License). Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA preferred). Experience: Proven experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to schedule needs on the Day Shift. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Certified Geriatric Nurse (CGN) or similar gerontology credentials.
