Family Practitioner/General Practitioner

Role and Facility Information This practice is looking for locum coverage for anytime - let them know when you are available! Office hours are flexible upon your preference, with evening and Saturday hours available but not expected. You can also choose where to work, whether at home or in the office. Overhead is 80/20. We believe in practicing medicine “the right way” through comprehensive, longitudinal care using a patient centered approach, with our clinic being a patient’s medical home. Our close-knit team includes award winning family physicians (UBC Family Medicine Preceptor of the year x 3, BC College “My Family Doctor” award), two nurse practitioners, a registered nurse and a veteran group of MOAs, who are supported by a social worker, pharmacist and clinical counsellors. Our practitioners love to collaborate, mentor and support each other, and they share a beautiful charting room with copious sunshine and a view of the Fraser River. We love working together with our “second family”. This spacious newly renovated clinic is located in New Westminster, BC, across from Royal Columbian Hospital, features 8 exam rooms including a larger family meeting room and a power exam table for geriatric patients. Provide comprehensive, longitudinal, and patient-centered primary care within a collaborative medical home environment. Utilize Oscar EMR for patient charting and conduct both in-person and virtual visits.

The role requires a qualified Family or General Practitioner capable of providing comprehensive care. Candidates should be comfortable using EMR systems and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
