As a Hospitalist at Cariboo Memorial Hospital, you will work in the acute inpatient medicine setting and function in a MRP (most responsible physician) role for complex medical and co-management of surgical patients, as well as palliative care. Throughout the hospital, you will receive excellent support from the other CMH specialists and family physicians. Working 8 hours a day you will see an average of 12-16 inpatients per shift. Request Info Terms Compensation Compensation Type Clinical Service Contract Estimated Remuneration For a full time hospitalist, anticipate an annual base income of $336,168.00 or $200.10/ hour. Up to an additional 40% is also available with group contract incentives. MOCAP level 2 and After Hours Premiums also provided. Physician Overhead No Overhead Benefits and Incentives May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including: Retention Premium 12.32% Retention Flat Fee $19,092 Relocation Funding Available $9,000 - $15,000 Recruitment Incentive $15,000 (based on 1.0 FTE). *Rural Incentives are subject to change and current rates are confirmed at time of offer. The Hospitalist serves as the most responsible physician for complex medical patients and provides co-management for surgical patients and palliative care. The role involves managing an average of 12-16 inpatients per shift within an acute inpatient setting.

The position is open to both new graduates and experienced Hospitalists. Candidates must be able to function in a lead physician role within a collaborative team environment.
