The cook is responsible for the organization, production, and distribution of food and beverages within the health facility. They must ensure services are provided in a safe and patient-centered manner.

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson Cook certificate or a Health Care Cook Certificate and have completed Grade 10. Applicants are also required to provide a valid Criminal Record Check with a vulnerable sector search.
