Position #: 9008146 Expected Start Date: October 19, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Meadow Lake Hospital City/Town: Meadow Lake Department: Intersectoral-Family Resource Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 29, 2027 FTE: 0.8 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 12 shifts of 7.5 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Health Educator - Staff $36.518 to $44.655 Travel Required: No Job Description: Working under the direction of the Manager, the Health Educator-Staff will support programming in Family Resources Centers and the larger community. The Health Educator-Staff will draw on theoretical and practical expertise to guide approaches using recent research and promising practices of early childhood development including culturally relevant, trauma informed practices. The Health Educator-Staff ensures that programming is culturally relevant using a trauma informed lens. The Health Educator-Staff collaborates with team members, community partners, program participants and other key stakeholders to translate local data into early learning environments to support quality assurance, program development, and service delivery. Candidates must hold a degree in a Human Services field acceptable to the employer and possess a valid Class 5 driver's license. Strong communication and computer skills, along with knowledge of child development and cultural traditions, are required.
