The nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care within the General Medical Nursing Unit. They must actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and promote the organizational mission by providing safe, patient-centered nursing care.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or a nursing diploma and be registered or eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Additional requirements include Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Basic Professional Assault Response Training (PART) certificates.
