Position #: 148185 Expected Start Date: Union: HSAS Facility: Irene & Les Dube Centre for Mental Health City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Mental Health and Addiction Services Combined Nursing Unit - Dube Centre Type: Full-time temporary Expected Up to Date: October 18, 2027 FTE: 1 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 28 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - BSW $35.137 to $42.966 Travel Required: No Job Description: To provide clinical and related services to individuals who are admitted to the Mental Health Inpatient units in order to facilitate their early discharge and recovery in the community. This position reports administratively to the Senior Social Worker who reports to the Manager of the Acute Care Mental Health. The Senior position is located at the Royal University Hospital site. The Manager of Acute Care reports to the general Manager of Mental Health and Addiction Services. Staff within this program work as a team and are accountable to each other. Because of the varied needs of clients, staff rely extensively on external resources and often work in partnership with families, other caregivers, agencies, and organizations in the community.
