Position #: 9012643 Expected Start Date: October 05, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Yorkton Regional Health Centre City/Town: Yorkton Department: Stroke Services Type: Part-time regular FTE: 0.62 Shift Information: Days Number of Hours per Rotation: 9 shifts of 8 hours per 3 weeks Relief: No Float: No Hours of Work: Standard Hours Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Speech Language Pathologist - Masters $44.803 to $54.786 Travel Required: No Job Description: Reporting to the manager, within the context of a client and family centered care model, in accordance with established standards of professional practice, and the vision, mission and values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA), the Speech Language Pathologist - Masters works collaboratively with parents, caregivers, other professionals and programs to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative speech and language services to patients and clients. Human Resources Exemption: No Education * Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) Licenses * Registered Speech-Language Pathologist (RSLP) Knowledge and Abilities * Advocates delivery of culturally safe, responsive & people-centered healthcare * Adjusts clinical approaches in a culturally responsive and respectful manner * Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook) * Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of information * Knowledge in communication disorders in adults * Highly developed organizational and multi-tasking skills * Sensitive and understanding of diverse cultural aspects of population served * Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills. * Ability to carry, load and unload equipment and supplies * Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients & Stakeholders * Ability to work with patients and their families in a collaborative way * Knowledge in the areas of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and processes * Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team * Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing workload * Knowledge of theories and empirical findings in speech/language pathology * Ability to use a variety of interventions/programs * Knowledge of intervention programs and strategies for individuals and groups Other Information * Valid Class 5 driver's license * Scheduled hours of work may be reduced when a statutory holiday is recognized The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
