We Are Looking For Someone Like You Murphy Company is seeking a Service Safety Manager to join our Colorado Safety Team. This position will work closely with the Regional Safety Manager and Vice President of Safety & Quality to support our growing service operations while helping maintain one of the industry's premier safety programs. Your Day-to-Day at Murphy Company * Conduct new employee safety orientations and onboarding. * Develop and maintain a field visitation schedule to ensure consistent support of service technicians and supervisors. * Perform routine jobsite safety observations, inspections, and audits. * Evaluate work environments and recommend practical solutions to eliminate or control hazards. * Document observations, corrective actions, and follow-up activities. * Monitor subcontractor safety performance and communicate opportunities for improvement. * Coach and mentor service technicians, foremen, supervisors, and managers on safe work practices. * Escalate unresolved safety concerns to Safety Leadership. * Deliver engaging safety training and demonstrate proper use of safety equipment. * Perform industrial hygiene monitoring when necessary. * Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action development. * Conduct TapRooT® investigations when appropriate. * Assist with employee injury management, return-to-work coordination, and claims support. * Partner with operations to continuously improve safety performance and strengthen Murphy Company's safety culture. Bring Your A-Game Our ideal candidate will possess: * 3–5 years of construction, industrial, or occupational safety experience (service industry experience preferred). * Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification, or the ability to obtain it within one year of hire. * OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification. * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field preferred. * Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety best practices. * Experience with hazard recognition, fall protection, confined spaces, excavation safety, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety. * Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills. * Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. * Experience leading safety initiatives and driving continuous improvement. * High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability. * Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout Colorado in support of field operations.
