Line of Business: Aggregates About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Aggregates Operations Intern to join our team for a 8-month term (September through April). This internship offers hands-on exposure to aggregate production and operational processes while providing valuable experience in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. What You'll Be Doing Support the aggregates operations team with managing and communicating KPIs. Review and improve site safety processes and programs. Inventory audits. Project and Maintenance support. Aid site staff in implementing plant efficiency improvement projects. What Are We Looking For Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in engineering software and tools. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Commitment to safety and quality standards. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
