Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions and initiatives company wide. The Human Resources Coordinator will act as the first point of contact for HR related queries from employees and external partners. Job Duties Include Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes and scheduling interviews Coordinate and conduct new employee orientations and ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately Maintain employee records and ensure compliance for documentation is aligned with applicable laws and regulations Assist with employee relations, workplace investigations and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures Support HR projects and initiatives, such as performance management, employee engagement, payroll and training programs Assist with oversight and support for company health and safety initiatives from WSIB management, JHSC participation and incident management Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes and inquiries Process bi-weekly hourly and salaried payroll with ADP in conjunction with the HR and Finance departments Prepare, process and coordinate administrative tasks related to the temporary foreign worker program Set up and maintain information in the payroll/HRIS system Assist with management of the Temporary Foreign Worker program from applications and housing compliance to various appointments and onboarding and offboarding procedures. Collect and analyze HR data Other duties as assigned Experience 2+ years of experience in a human resources role an asset Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in data collection, analysis, and reporting using HR systems (ADP Workforce Now) Knowledge of employment laws and regulations Experience conducting interviews and managing employee relations issue *Fluent in Spanish or the willingness to learn Spanish is an asset* This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic HR team and contribute to the success of our organization.
