Information on the division: Located in Kitchener the 100+ employee facility (99,000 sq. ft.) is Héroux-Devtek’s center of excellence for the machining of medium- to large-size landing gear components. As part of the Central Division you will lead P&L responsible for critical machining operations of major commercial aircraft programs such as the Boeing 777 and Embraer E-2, business jets like the Dassault Falcon and important military programs as KC-135, MQ-25 and CH-47 Chinook. This role involves using hand tools, grinders, and other equipment to carefully deburr components according to specifications and quality standards. The Deburrer will inspect parts for defects, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work with large parts and intricate details are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment and a commitment to producing high-quality, finished components. Main responsibilities * Deburring parts to tolerances as required. * Gauging and dimensionally measuring parts to ensure accuracy in deburring process. * Understanding setup sheets, tool lists and Operational Detail Sheets. * Preventative Maintenance. * Pre-start up inspections which incorporate Health & Safety awareness. * Work closely with other operators and members of other departments to produce a high- quality part. * 5-S Activities * Adheres to all Company policies and procedures, including H&S requirements. * Perform other duties assigned by leadership. Our ideal candidate: * High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required. * 1-3 years’ experience in deburring preferred.
