📍 Location: Montreal, QC, Canada 🏢 Work Arrangement: On-site 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Satellite Platform RF/EMC Systems Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of complex aerospace and satellite systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical engineering background with expertise in RF systems, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and system-level testing. Key Responsibilities Support EMC and RF engineering activities for advanced aerospace and satellite systems. Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale system-level EMC testing. Perform unit-level EMC testing in accordance with international standards and established test methodologies. Analyze test results and provide recommendations to ensure compliance with EMC requirements. Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams on RF, digital, and analog electronic systems. Support system integration, verification, and validation activities. Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and engineering assessments. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering. 5+ years of relevant engineering experience. Strong background in RF engineering and/or Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC). Significant experience performing large-scale system-level EMC testing. Experience with unit-level EMC testing using international standards (or equivalent methods and testing levels). Systems engineering experience involving RF, digital, and analog electronic unit designs and wiring harnesses. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and technical documentation abilities. Important Screening Criteria Candidates must have a degree in Electrical Engineering or Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering. Candidates with a Mechanical Engineering degree are not a fit for this role. Experience should be focused on electrical/RF engineering, not mechanical aspects of RF design. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the aerospace, defense, satellite, or telecommunications industries. Familiarity with satellite systems, avionics, or other mission-critical electronic systems. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with their updated resume.
