Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Canada and be in good standing with the applicable provincial or territorial law society. Example Project Types Include SaaS agreements Vendor and supplier contracts NDAs and data processing agreements Commercial terms and conditions General contract review and redlining for tech companies What You’ll Do Review, draft, and redline a variety of commercial agreements. Advise clients on contract terms, risk exposure, and negotiation strategies. Deliver precise, high-quality legal work with efficient turnaround times. Requirements Licensed lawyer in Canada, in good standing 5+ years of experience focused on commercial contracts Experience at a top-tier law firm or as in-house counsel at a technology company Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight timelines Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance Commitment: This is a project-based, ongoing independent contractor position staffed via HireArt. The role is fully remote and open to candidates based in Canada. Applicants must be a licensed lawyer in Canada, in good standing.
