Role: Sociology Professor (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $50 - $90/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking Sociology Teachers, Postsecondary to deliver asynchronous course content for undergraduate and graduate programs. Instructors will develop and maintain course materials aligned with curriculum standards while providing timely feedback to students. Key Responsibilities: • Design and update course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments for sociology courses at the postsecondary level. • Deliver asynchronous instruction through structured weekly modules, including lectures, readings, discussions, and assignments. • Evaluate student performance through grading rubrics, discussion participation, and written assignments. • Provide detailed feedback on assignments within 48 hours to support student learning outcomes. • Maintain academic integrity by enforcing course policies and addressing plagiarism or academic misconduct. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Master’s degree or higher in Sociology or a closely related field such as Social Sciences or Education is required. • Prior teaching experience at the postsecondary level, including online or hybrid instruction, is required. • Proficiency in learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, or Moodle) is required. • Strong written communication skills for providing clear, constructive feedback and course documentation. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
