Data Analyst / Analytics Consultant – BigQuery | GCP | BI 📍 Location: Canada 💼 Engagement: Independent Candidates Only 🕐 Work Hours: Must be willing to work PST hours We are looking for a Data Analyst / Analytics Consultant with strong BigQuery SQL, data quality, data profiling, reconciliation, and BI/dashboarding experience. Must-Have Skills • Advanced BigQuery SQL • Strong data profiling & data quality analysis • Multi-dataset comparison, mapping & analysis • Data reconciliation and delta analysis • Coverage impact analysis • Root-cause investigation and troubleshooting • Dashboarding / BI experience with Looker, Tableau, or Power BI • GCP familiarity • Documentation and requirements gathering • Strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to work independently on ad hoc analytical requests Preferred / Plus • Python or R • Exposure to AI / LLM tools Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is an analytical problem-solver who can independently investigate data issues, compare datasets, identify gaps and deltas, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate findings clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
