Working closely with the Vice President - Transformers, the sales teams, and manufacturing partners, you will help shape and execute business strategies that support profitable growth while strengthening customer relationships and market presence. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, evaluate market trends, support commercial initiatives, and help align customers, sales teams, and supplying factories around shared priorities. Your work will contribute to the development of reliable power infrastructure by ensuring customers have access to transformer solutions that support the evolving needs of Canada's electrical grid. This is an opportunity to combine market knowledge, strategic planning, customer engagement, and cross-functional collaboration to influence business growth and help advance the future of energy. How You'll Make an Impact Develop and support profitable sales growth for the Power Transformer business across Western Canadian. Create and execute business plans aligned with strategic priorities, budgets, and growth targets. Identify new market segments, strategic opportunities, and growth initiatives through market research and customer insights. Develop action plans that support business expansion and long-term commercial success. Conduct market studies and marketing activities to support business priorities and customer engagement. Gather customer and competitor insights to support business planning and strategic direction. Act as the voice of the customer by communicating market needs and expectations to supplying factories. Support sales teams through customer presentations, proposal development, training initiatives, and responses to strategic opportunities and RFPs. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada. Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business management or a related field. Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to align cross-functional teams, including sales organizations and manufacturing partners, around shared goals and priorities. Spoken and written proficiency in English is required, communication skills in French is considered an asset. Product management experience, negotiation experience, and knowledge of the Canadian market are considered strong assets.
