The welder is responsible for interpreting specifications and blueprints to operate manual and automated welding equipment. They must examine welds to ensure they meet standards and perform minor repairs on welding and soldering equipment.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 2 years of experience. Required certifications include WHMIS, Fall Arrest Protection, and Forklift Operator certification.
