WATER TRUCK DRIVER

WATER TRUCK DRIVER HML Group is looking for an experienced Water Truck Driver to work on landscaping projects in the Edmonton area. Job Duties: Water truck operation in and around the Edmonton area; Watering on various sites; The work is related to our construction scopes; Able to perform manual labor if required; Executing field projects according to instructions provided by dispatch; Work with minimal supervision and direction; Follow all traffic legislation and; Drive and operate according to the company’s safety standards. Job Requirements: 2+ years of truck driving experience; Water truck experience is preferred; Maintain logbook as per legislation; Perform regular equipment maintenance and pre-trips; Neat and diligent in maintaining equipment / vehicles; CSTS 2020 training; Valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s license; Clean 5-year commercial driver’s abstract; Ability to work long hours (10 – 12 hours per day); Commercial vehicle training; Strong work ethic; Safety conscious; Must be able to legally work in Canada.

The Water Truck Driver will operate the vehicle for watering tasks on various landscaping and construction sites within the Edmonton area, executing field projects as instructed by dispatch. They must also be prepared to perform manual labor when necessary and adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety standards.

Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of truck driving experience, preferably with water truck experience, and hold a valid Class 1 or Class 3 Driver's license along with a clean 5-year commercial driver's abstract. Essential requirements include CSTS 2020 training, the ability to work long hours (10-12 hours daily), and a strong commitment to safety.
