Role Description The Beauty Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Holt Renfrew in Mississauga, ON. This role involves providing personalized beauty consultations, recommending skincare and cosmetic products, and delivering high-quality customer service to support individual beauty needs. The Beauty Advisor will demonstrate products, educate customers on proper application techniques and product benefits, and help clients build tailored beauty routines. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining product displays and testers, meeting retail sales targets, processing transactions, and supporting promotional events and brand activations. The Beauty Advisor also collaborates with team members and brand partners to ensure an inclusive, welcoming, and luxurious in-store experience. Qualifications Strong foundation in cosmetology and skin care, with the ability to provide informed, personalized beauty advice. Solid product knowledge across skincare, cosmetics, and fragrance, including ingredients, benefits, and usage. Proven customer service skills with a client-focused approach, building long-term relationships and loyalty. Experience in retail sales, including achieving targets, handling POS systems, and supporting in-store promotions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse clientele in a professional manner. Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced retail environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous experience in a beauty, cosmetics, or luxury retail setting is an asset. Formal training or certification in aesthetics, cosmetology, or related fields is considered an advantage.

Provide personalized beauty consultations and recommend skincare and cosmetic products to clients. Maintain product displays, process transactions, and collaborate with brand partners to ensure a luxurious in-store experience.

Requires a strong foundation in cosmetology and skincare with proven retail sales and customer service experience. Formal certification in aesthetics or cosmetology is considered an advantage.
