Are you a compassionate, motivated Personal Support Worker (PSW) who loves supporting others and making a positive impact on people’s lives? Home Instead is looking for a Lead Caregiver to inspire and guide our caregivers while helping older adults and their families navigate the challenges of aging with dignity and care. What You’ll Do Travel across our territory to coach and provide quality assurance to caregivers. Support new caregiver onboarding, orientation, and client introductions. Communicate clearly with caregivers, clients, families, and office teams. Identify challenges before they become problems and recommend solutions. Maintain accurate documentation and keep HR updated on caregiver performance. Step in as a PSW in emergency situations when needed. Contribute ideas for training and development opportunities for our team. What We’re Looking For More than 2 years' experience as a PSW. Must understand the importance of household management and meal preparation & cooking as part of providing quality senior care. Previous experience involving mentoring and coaching. Valid driver’s license, full-time access to a reliable car, and auto insurance. Strong communication, patience, and mentoring skills. Professionalism, discretion, and excellent judgment. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively. Computer-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems. Team-oriented mindset and ability to build positive relationships. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week with flexible start and end times. Occasional weekends as needed. Education Personal Support Worker Certificate OR International nursing experience, combined with more than 2 years of hands-on, professional senior care experience License/Certifications Current First Aid & CPR certification. Immunization Record & TB Testing Vulnerable Sector Police Check Dementia care training and experience is a strong asset. Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA) training is an asset.
