What You'll Be Doing on Overnight Shifts As an overnight PSW with Home Instead, you will ensure safety, comfort, and peace of mind for clients while supporting their nighttime routines. Responsibilities include: Assisting with evening hygiene and bedtime routines. Providing overnight supervision, responding to needs as they arise. Supporting mobility, transfers, and toileting during the night. Performing light housekeeping tasks to maintain a restful environment. Offering companionship and reassurance if clients wake during the night. Documenting observations and reporting concerns to the care team. What We’re Looking For PSW certificate. Access to a reliable transportation. Experience in overnight or complex care preferred. Confidence supporting clients with dementia, cognitive decline, or limited mobility.
