SCOPE OF POSITION Reporting to the Department Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling all of Hood Packaging's day-to-day production operations for the shift (A, B, C, or D). The incumbent of this position must ensure the execution of the daily production plan sent to him or her in the safest manner, on time and using all the resources required. He or she will be the main point of contact for his or her team for any issues related to the day-to-day activities on the production floor. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Must be able to work in a factory environment while moving safely * Must be able to work in a unionized environment. * Must be able to maintain quotas and production standards. * Must provide supervision and coaching. * May be confronted with conflictual situations. * Regular use of factory computers, telephones. * Must be able to detect color and color variations. Candidates must be able to work in a factory environment and have experience managing within a unionized setting. The role requires the ability to maintain production quotas and standards while effectively supervising staff.
