Horizon is seeking an open, enthusiastic, experienced Senior Systems Engineer – Electrical. You will lead development of 28V Aircraft power systems for our demonstrator aircraft. From component-level specification, verification, test and integration, you will define, build, integrate, test aircraft systems, support certification activities, and enable safety of flight. Your Day-to-Day Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and develop test plans needed to support integration, verification, and certification activities. Design LV electrical power distribution solutions. Design electrical and electronic solutions for test benches, HIL, PHIL simulator, and Iron Bird facilities according to programme requirements and test objectives. Prepare technical documentation for solutions, including Bills of Materials (BOMs) , requirements, functions, test plans and reports. Lead test and program asset commissioning, fault investigation, and issue resolution throughout the development lifecycle. Coordinate program activities, ensuring hardware, equipment, and resources are available to meet programme milestones. We are looking for people that will have the following qualifications and experiences: Demonstrated experience (7+ years) in a Electrical Systems role from aerospace or automotive, having worked across all phases of the lifecycle. Ideally you would have hands-on experience with development of hardware and systems to support compliance demonstration activities with TCCA, FAA, and EASA. About Your Future Team. Requires over 7 years of experience in an electrical systems role within the aerospace or automotive industries. Experience with TCCA, FAA, and EASA compliance demonstration activities is highly preferred.
