Job Purpose The Medical Laboratory Technologist 3 is responsible for performing routine and specialized clinical and technical work for a specific area or areas. This position may include supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Laboratory Technology, holding a practicing (non-temporary) license and in good standing with the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists A minimum of three (3) years of progressive related experience. Demonstrated supervisory abilities may be required. Ability to attend work on a regular basis. Ability to perform the duties of the position. Good work record. The Medical Laboratory Technologist 3 performs routine and specialized clinical work and may provide supervisory oversight. Key duties include monitoring quality control, training staff, and developing laboratory procedures and maintenance programs.

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology school with a valid practicing license from the New Brunswick Society of Medical Laboratory Technologists. A minimum of three years of progressive related experience is required.
