ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Maintain the sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisles, and back-of-house areas. * Ensure dishwasher temperatures and chemicals are monitored. * Use the deep hand-washing system as required. * Break down trays, set up the dish machine, wash dishware, and sort and store all clean china, glassware, and silverware using proper procedures. * Return all cleaned and sanitized items to their assigned areas. * Empty trash cans and wash the inside and outside of each can. * Thoroughly clean the dock area and dumpster. * Break down the dish machine and clean the inside and outside. * Clean tile walls, floors, and baseboards. * Perform any other job-related duties as assigned. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning, transporting, and storing all china, glassware, and kitchen utensils while maintaining the sanitation of all back-of-house areas. They must also monitor dish machine temperatures and chemicals to ensure compliance with safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and passionate about maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
