Job Description: Check in the client, handle administrative formalities required by the hotel; Inform the client about the hotel's services and provide them with the keys to their room; Provide information, if necessary, about cultural, gastronomic, etc. activities offered by the city or region; Prepare invoices and collect payment from the client upon departure; Plan reservations in advance that come by email, fax or phone; Manage the real-time availability of rooms on a reservation software; Optimize the hotel's occupancy rate by establishing statistics on the software; Effectively respond to all external and internal client calls and provide correct responses; Provide accurate information about the hotel's services, amenities, and different types of rooms, and promote them to optimize sales; Adhere to established standards, norms, and procedures; Communicate and interact effectively in various work situations; The employee may be required to train colleagues and attend additional training related to their position. Sell hotel products and services; Education: DEP in hotel reception or at least one year of experience in hotel reception Skills: Proficiency in computer skills, knowledge of Hotello is an asset Excellent command of both French and English Strong communication skills and a talent for customer service Good knowledge of Montreal’s tourist attractions Neat appearance Demonstrate patience, diligence, tact, and discretion Ability to multitask while ensuring excellent customer service Variable hours – availability during the day, evenings, and weekends Language: Bilingualism (French-English) is required for this position, as we serve international clients.
