We are looking for an outgoing, fashion forward, responsible and organized Sales Associate (Stylist) to join the Hunter & Hare team at our Union Street location! The H&H Sales Associate is responsible for building and maintaining long lasting relationships with H&H customers through authentic, caring and personal customer service. Key responsibilities include: product education, styling and suggestive selling, managing drop off appointments, answering customer and consignor inquiries and maintaining store cleanliness, restock and merchandising standards. This position would be for shifts *Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays plus some additional shifts for coverage. Must be able to start by August 12th * *Job Duties*: * Provide an outstanding customer experience through product education, styling and suggestive selling * Answer customer and consignor inquiries regarding wholesale and consignment inventory and consignor account status * Manage daily appointments and drop off experience * Answer telephone and email inquiries * Accurate processing of transactions * Daily restock of product on the sales floor and styling mannequins when needed * Maintain store merchandising and cleanliness standards * Complete a weekly checklist * Accurate tagging of consignment inventory * Maintaining front of house organization (cash desk supplies etc.) * Opening and closing if applicable *Requirements:* * Demonstrated customer service skills (1 year retail experience is an asset) * A strong eye for fashion and interest in learning about our product and brand identity * Understands the consignment process and believes in recycling, reducing and reusing * A responsible and organized person * Ability to perform effective sales techniques, meet sales goals, and foster long term relationships with customers * Self motivated with an interest in growing with a small business *Working Conditions:* * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs * 12+ hours per week (must be able to work an 8 hour shift on your feet) * Must be available to work one weekend day * This is a part-time position and the successful applicant must be able to work 2-3 shifts per week including *Saturdays plus one other week day * * *Must be available during holiday period* *What We Offer:* * Health benefits * Competitive wage * Balanced schedule * Paid sick & personal days * Strong team culture and internal hiring opportunities * Store discount and monthly allowance Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: From $18.40 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off * Store discount Application question(s): * Have you shopped at any of our Hunter & Hare locations before?
