Requirements: A minimum of four years’ post-call experience in corporate and commercial law, A strong track record in transactional work, such as mergers and acquisitions, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, advising on corporate governance matters, real estate and other commercial matters. Familiarity with Alberta-specific regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements is essential, as is experience working with clients in key industries relevant such as private investment, private equity, institutional finance, oilfield services, energy, real estate, and construction. Exposure to multi-jurisdictional transactions and the ability to manage files independently will be highly valued. Associates at this level are essential for managing complex files independently and maintaining client service standards.
