We're looking for a collaborative, results-oriented Corporate Service Manager to support our eleven dealership locations by improving service operations, developing our Service Managers and technicians, and helping deliver an exceptional customer experience every day. About The Role Reporting to the Director of Product Support, the Corporate Service Manager is responsible for supporting and continuously improving Service operations across all Huron Tractor locations. Working closely with Store Managers, Branch Service Managers, the Corporate Parts Manager, Sales, Precision Agriculture, Human Resources, and other corporate teams, you'll help ensure our Service departments operate consistently, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining flexibility to meet the unique needs of each local market. This role combines operational leadership with hands-on coaching. You'll spend time in our branches supporting Service Managers, improving workflows, developing technicians, implementing best practices, and helping our teams deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do As Corporate Service Manager, you will: Support the execution of Huron Tractor's Service strategy across all dealership locations. Develop, implement, and improve standardized Service Department processes and best practices. Coach and support Branch Service Managers to improve operational performance and customer experience. Monitor key performance indicators including technician productivity, labor recovery, work-in-process, warranty recovery, and profitability. Identify opportunities to improve shop efficiency, workflow, scheduling, and resource utilization. Partner with Store Managers to develop branch-specific action plans that improve financial and operational performance. Support technician recruitment, onboarding, apprenticeship, and career development initiatives. Work with the Certified Dealer Instructor to strengthen technical training and John Deere certification programs. Champion Connected Support, Precision Agriculture initiatives, and new service technologies. Promote a strong safety culture by supporting compliance with OHSA, manufacturer requirements, and Huron Tractor safety standards. Foster collaboration between Service, Parts, Sales, and Precision Agriculture teams to improve the overall customer experience. What Success Looks Like During your first year, you'll focus on: Building strong relationships with Service Managers and Store Managers across all locations. Completing a comprehensive review of Service operations throughout the dealership. Standardizing key Service processes and performance expectations. Improving technician productivity, labor recovery, workflow, and work-in-process management. Strengthening technician recruitment, onboarding, apprenticeship, and mentorship programs. Developing consistent KPI reporting and branch scorecards. Supporting the rollout of Connected Support initiatives and new technologies. Building a culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, customer service, and safety. What You Bring We're looking for an experienced Service professional who enjoys developing people, improving operations, and working collaboratively across multiple locations. You have: 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in dealership Service operations. Experience leading Service Managers, technicians, or other technical teams. Strong understanding of Service Department operations, financial performance, and customer support. Experience managing budgets and improving operational performance. Excellent coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills. A practical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement. The ability to balance consistency across the organization while recognizing the needs of individual branches. Experience in a John Deere dealership or within the agriculture, heavy equipment, or construction industries is considered a strong asset, along with familiarity with Precision Agriculture technologies.
