Role Description This full-time, Part-time on-site Security Guard role is based in Brampton, ON. The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by monitoring premises, controlling access points, and conducting regular patrols. Daily tasks include observing and reporting suspicious activities, responding to alarms and incidents, and documenting events in detailed reports. The role involves interacting with visitors, clients, and staff to provide guidance, enforce site rules, and support emergency procedures when needed. The Security Guard will work closely with supervisors and local authorities as required, following all company policies and legal regulations. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact professionally with clients, visitors, and colleagues. Candidates should possess skills in Physical Security and Private Security to conduct patrols, monitor access, and ensure site safety. Candidates should possess Personnel Security awareness to help protect individuals and manage sensitive situations appropriately. Relevant security guard licensing or certification as required by provincial regulations (e.g., Ontario security guard license). Ability to remain alert, handle stressful situations calmly, and make sound decisions under pressure. Basic report writing skills and familiarity with incident documentation and security protocols. Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is an asset.
