Check out the IAMGOLD Blog Read about our Sustainability Approach About the role: IAMGOLD is looking for a curious, driven, and collaborative Intern, Integrated Planning to join our Technical Services team and gain hands-on experience supporting the planning processes that help drive our mining operations. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced mining professionals and business leaders, contributing to meaningful projects that improve how information, data, and planning activities come together across the organization. As part of a global mining company, you'll gain valuable exposure to operational planning, business decision-making, and the technologies that support modern mining. This is an exciting opportunity for a university student interested in mining engineering, computer engineering, data analytics, or operational planning to apply classroom knowledge to real-world challenges. You'll help develop and improve planning tools, support business reporting, analyze data, and collaborate with stakeholders across corporate and site teams. Whether you're helping streamline workflows, evaluating digital collaboration tools, or contributing to mining studies, your work will have a direct impact on improving planning effectiveness across the business. This internship duration is January – April 2027. Responsibilities: Working closely with mentors from the Technical Services teams, you'll gain exposure to production planning, mine planning concepts, reporting processes, and cross-functional collaboration. You'll have opportunities to learn from industry experts, engage with professionals across multiple disciplines, and build a deeper understanding of how technical, operational, and business functions work together to support responsible mining operations. Key Skills & Knowledge: We're looking for a student who is currently enrolled full-time in a Mining Engineering or Computer Engineering program and is eager to learn in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI are important for success in this role. Experience with Deswik, MineSight, or coursework in Finance/Commerce would be considered assets.
