*Job Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage various types of freight. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. *Duties* * Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight to various locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. * Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, rest periods, and cargo details. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. * Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies regarding safety and operational procedures. * Assist with basic maintenance tasks on the vehicle, including automotive repairs as needed. * Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading. *Experience* Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: * Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver?s license (CDL). * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. * Experience handling freight and understanding logistics processes. * Basic knowledge of automotive repair to address minor vehicle issues on the road. * Forklift operation experience is a plus for efficient loading and unloading of cargo.
