Job Requirements About the Role The Product Sales Manager – Government Banking will be responsible for driving customized product and solution sales within the government segment. Based in New Delhi (North & East) and Mumbai (West & South), the role involves working closely with Government Banking Group (GBG) Relationship Managers to support client engagements, technical integrations, and bid management for various government projects. The role also includes vendor coordination, solution design, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities Attend client meetings alongside GBG Relationship Managers to support solution discussions. Initiate Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) after reviewing design and integration documents for government projects such as PFMS, SNA, CBDT, CBIC, PPF, eNAM, GeM, etc. Act as the Product and IT Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for technical integration related to government projects. Prepare customized technical business proposals tailored to client requirements. Serve as the one-point contact for internal and external solution offerings for government clients. Engage with client IT teams to ensure end-to-end implementation of solutions. Review government RFPs/bids and prepare comprehensive responses with all required documentation and technical details. Manage vendor-related activities including shortlisting, documentation, negotiation, ISG review, onboarding, relationship management, billing, and invoice processing. Provide inputs to the Finance team for cost budgeting related to products and solutions. Mobilize support from cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. Secondary Responsibilities Maintain strong relationships with government clients to support ongoing engagement and retention. Monitor market trends and gather intelligence on evolving products in the government domain. What We Are Looking For Education Graduation: Full time graduate in any discipline from a recognised institution. Post-graduation: Post-graduate from a recognised institution. Experience Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in government banking, product sales, or solution delivery, especially involving technical integration and bid management within BFSI industry. Skills and Attributes Strong understanding of government banking products and regulatory frameworks. Fluent in English with excellent stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage complex technical integrations and vendor relationships. Proficiency in preparing business proposals and responding to RFPs. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments and with external partners. Strong organizational and project management skills.
