Our Research & Innovation team ensures our technology remains best-in-class and at the forefront of innovation. The Role We are currently seeking a dynamic Account Manager to join our team at IES. The Account Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth by building and maintaining relationships with existing clients. As part of the IES team, the Account Manager will promote the IES Virtual Environment (IESVE) suite to existing customers, focusing on architects, engineers, and building owners. What You’ll Do Identify and cultivate renewal, upsell and cross sell opportunities across an existing set of AEC client accounts located across Canada and the US Manage a book of existing clients and serving as their main point of contact for IES Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers Work with Customer Success and our Building Performance Engineering team to onboard and train current and new software users. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Collaborate with marketing and technical teams to promote the IESVE suite. Provide product demonstrations and presentations to clients and prospective users. Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and competitive offerings. Provide timely and accurate revenue forecasts to management and keep CRM records up to date Skills & Experience Proven track record of success in B2B sales or account management, preferably in the building industry or software sales. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills and attention to detail Knowledge of sustainable design principles, HVAC design and/or building performance analysis Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events. Nice to Have Familiarity with energy modeling software such as IESVE. Membership in or working towards relevant accreditations (e.g., CIBSE, ASHRAE, etc.). Familiarity with voluntary environmental rating schemes such as LEED, BREEAM, NABERS, etc. Familiarity with Construction Codes (NECB, ASHRAE, etc) Awareness of digital technologies within the construction sector.
