*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons in and around the water, providing surveillance, and responding to emergencies. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors. *Duties* * Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers. * Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents. * Perform rescues and administer first aid when necessary. * Conduct regular safety checks of the pool area and equipment. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas. * Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries or concerns. * Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on safety protocols and emergency procedures. *Skills* * Proficient swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues effectively. * Capability for heavy lifting, as required during rescues or maintenance tasks. * Strong observational skills to identify potential hazards or emergencies. * Excellent communication skills to interact with patrons and team members. * Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations. * Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid required Licence/Certification: * First Aid Certification * NLS Certificate Students welcome Join us in creating a safe and enjoyable experience for our community!
