WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE • A university degree and 2+ years of HR experience, or 5+ years of related professional experience. • Flexibility to work between our Mississauga and Hamilton locations based on business needs. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence, coach, and support leaders and co-workers. • A collaborative, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset that aligns with IKEA's values and people-first culture. • Experience supporting HR processes, systems, and change initiatives in a fast-paced environment. A DAY IN YOUR LIFE WITH US • Be the trusted advisor to line managers to implement the unit business and people plans to achieve operational goals and objectives. • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistency in application of all people processes for a great co-worker experience. • In partnership with line managers, enable inclusive talent management and continuous development of local leadership capabilities to deliver to the VCG goals. • In partnership with business leaders support people aspects related to Transformation in the unit and be an active ambassador for standardization and change. • Be the guardian of the IKEA Culture & Values in the unit, acting as the voice of the co-worker and securing that IKEA is a caring employer and a great place to work, as well as safeguarding co-worker experience (overall end-to-end - beyond P&C experience). The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 58960 CAD to 81070 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
