Inspector

Department: Production Reports To: Lead Salary range: $21 - $27 Hourly Principal Accountabilities: • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified and retain those certifications. • IPC-7711certified if team indicates the need for more qualified personnel. • Inspect assemblies using 3D AOI system and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class. • Inspect assemblies at Final inspection and pass or fail per IPC-A-610 class. • SMT and Final QA SFE certified and maintain that certification. • Complete defect tracking in database. • Complete AS9102 FA reports and submit to QA. • Operate either x-ray machines per work instructions • Operate AOI systems per work instructions • Run in-line and batch washers per work instruction • Use the MES to track time the status of jobs • Create and complete non-conformances/DMR's • Ability to read, understand, and navigate in Fusion documentation. • Help to update procedures and work instructions as needed to match current process. • Maintain 6S standards and continually look for ways to improve processes. • Follow safety, ESD, ITAR and QMS protocols. • Actively participate in Lean activities and embrace change. • Follow the procedures as defined in the QMS that pertain to your area or position. Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge of and ability to inspect to IPC-A-610 Inspect through a microscope Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills Good writing skills Ability to work within a team Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certified Prior Final Inspection experience in the electronics industry.
