The Bottle Depot Compressed Work week = 4 shifts 10hrs per day The Bottle Depot, the largest beverage recycling company in British Columbia, is hiring a Commercial Bottle Sorter to join our fast-paced recycling operation. Job Duties Sort deposit beverage containers by material and type Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Work independently to meet daily production targets Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Qualifications Strong attention to detail Ability to work quickly and efficiently Good communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Recycling, warehouse, or sorting experience is an asset (not required) Compensation & Benefits Competitive wages Flexible scheduling Pant and boot allowance Tuition reimbursement program Extended health benefits valued at $750 with 100% coverage (Available after 6 months of employment working a minimum of 32 hours per week) On-the-job training As part of the Bottle Depot Team, successful candidates will support the company’s mission to contribute to the green economy in BC, as well as support Canada’s commitments on climate change. Experience sorting: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification Driving Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person
