We are currently seeking a motivated, reliable, and outgoing team players to join our Atlantic Canada team as a Valet Attendant, based at one of our hospital locations in downtown Halifax. Operations JOB DESCRIPTION: Greeting and welcoming guests to the property Parking and retrieving vehicles in a timely fashion Operating vehicles safely in confined areas and narrow spaces Performing accurate inspections of vehicles for damage prior to taking into custody Issue and collect valet tickets as required Ensuring safe custody of keys in locked key box Ensuring vehicles are locked after parking Cleaning the work area, and parking area as needed, including key sanitization and litter pick up Answering any questions that guests may have (providing directions, etc.) Responsible for adhering to all company policies and procedures Conducting parking enforcement throughout the parking lot, including monitoring compliance with parking regulations and addressing unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles in accordance with company policies. Processing and handling guest transactions accurately, including collecting payments and validating the tickets. Customer Relationship Build positive relationships with customers Note the nature of complaints received by customers, and actively help develop and suggest solutions Communicate verbally with customers and clients in English Requirements A valid Canadian driver's license (class 5) and clean driving abstract Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is an asset High school diploma or equivalent High level of interpersonal skills, including poise and diplomacy Previous customer service experience Previous valet experience considered an asset Good communication skills, both verbally and written Strong work ethic and commitment to customer service Ability to work with a team Able to work outside in all weather (free uniform provided) A minimum of three years driving experience Able to operate a vehicle in confined spaces without damage #IPC2 The composition of Indigo's workforce reflects a wide variety of ages, profiles and roles. The Valet Attendant is responsible for greeting guests, safely parking and retrieving vehicles, and performing vehicle inspections. They also handle guest transactions, maintain the parking area, and ensure compliance with parking regulations.

Candidates must possess a valid Canadian class 5 driver's license with a clean abstract and at least three years of driving experience. A high school diploma and strong interpersonal skills are required, while experience with manual transmissions and previous valet work are assets.
