Co-op Software Developer - Winter 2027 (January - April) - London or Toronto, Ontario (Remote/Hybrid Based on Location)

About the role The Software Developer Co-Op writes front-end and back-end code that drives ITRG products. In this role, the student will gain hands-on experience working within a product development team, contributing to production code, and learning from Senior Developers to strengthen their technical and professional skills. Key Tasks * Completes development coding and testing using Ruby on Rails. * Participates in sprint and feature planning sessions; analyzes product vendor requirements and helps design technical solutions. * Participates in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards. Education and Experience * Currently enrolled in a College Diploma or University Degree program with an active co-op component in Ontario * Some programming experience through academic, personal, or hobby projects Skills * Software Development: Ability to program in at least one language (experience with Ruby on Rails is not required). * Web Development: Basic familiarity with web development concepts and practices. * Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within project teams and contribute to shared goals. * Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and project owners. * Problem Solving: Ability to analyze business requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.
