About the Role Position: Finance Manager Location: West-End Halifax HQ Experience: 5–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operations. CPA designation and/or experience in a manufacturing environment considered an asset. What You’ll Do As a Finance Manager at Infusd, you’ll play a critical role in building the financial foundation of a rapidly growing technology and manufacturing company. You’ll work closely with company leadership, operations, procurement, sales, and R&D to turn financial data into better decisions and help drive profitability, efficiency, and sustainable growth. You will: Lead day-to-day accounting and financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information. Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, and general ledger activities. Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis. Develop and maintain financial KPIs to help leadership understand performance and make informed decisions. Partner closely with Operations and Procurement to optimize inventory, purchasing, working capital, and supplier costs. Identify opportunities to improve margins, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency. Develop and strengthen financial controls, policies, and processes as the company scales. Coordinate year-end audits and work with external accountants and advisors. Support ERP implementation, optimization, automation, and process improvement initiatives. Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic planning and business development. Mentor and support finance and administrative personnel as the organization grows. Collaborate across the company to foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on the growth of a rapidly scaling company, working alongside leadership to build the systems and processes that will support Infusd’s next stage of expansion. The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially minded, highly organized, and comfortable operating in an environment where things move quickly and there is always an opportunity to improve. What We’re Looking For 5–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operations. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and cost accounting. Experience with inventory management and manufacturing finance is an asset. Experience with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel is an asset. Experience managing procurement, suppliers, or strategic sourcing is an asset. CPA designation is preferred but not required. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and across teams. A strong interest in building systems and processes within a high-growth environment.
