Job Overview We are looking for an individual to join the assembly team in manufacturing industrial air compressors, compressor components, and sub-assemblies. This best candidate for this role will have experience in a similar field working collaboratively and independently to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. Responsibilities Position, install, and secure subcomponents into various pieces of equipment as per drawings Perform self-inspection to verify that all components are installed, tested, and match applicable drawings Report any quality issues that arise, work with quality technician and engineering department to implement corrections Ensure all products meet standards and shipping requirements before products are moved to shipping department Ensure working area is kept tidy to avoid safety hazards Requirements High School Diploma or GED 2-5 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions from start to finish Ability to use a variety of hand and measuring tools Core Competencies Strong organizational and communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in a safe manner Ability to work productively in a team and independently Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions from start to finish Ability to use a variety of hand and measuring tools Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements This position will be based at our facility in Barrie, ON, with no expected travel.
