We’re Fruitland Manufacturing, a vacuum pump manufacturer specializing in truck and trailer-mounted vacuum pumps and systems. Our vacuum pumps can be found in agriculture, waste management, oil and gas, and many other industries. Due to growing demand for our components, we’re searching for a new, long-term assembly technician to join us. Responsibilities Your role will be to work in a diverse manufacturing environment completing tasks like assembling pumps and sub-assemblies as well as working in other areas of the plant while complying with ISO and quality procedures. Troubleshooting and repairing any rebuilds brought in by customers give added variety to the job. You’ll do well in this role if you possess: Mechanical aptitude – you love working with parts, machinery, and tools. Resourcefulness – you know that there’s more than one way to a solution, and keep trying when you hit a roadblock. Attention to detail – you’re conscientious, with an eagle eye for detail. You ensure a quality product goes out the door.
